Silliness • Love • Chaos • Peanuts

A snack-sized adventure with big 1930 energy. Sell peanuts. Win love. Dodge doom. (Try not to go into shock. Or do. We’re not your doctor.)

What is this?

NutQuest is a fast, funny, and slightly unhinged mini-odyssey initially built for the Gaming Like It’s 1930 jam. Inspired by the era’s vibe, Cuban cultural elements like the pregonero (street vendors), and the legendary Cuban tune The Peanut Vendor composed by Moisés Simons.

If you want to listen to a 1930 recording of this song to get some nice tunes in your ear, you can find it online here:

Goal

Sell/serve peanuts to whistling customers (those visibly named and with descriptive appearance). Interact with your love interest, Betty Boop, a tourist visiting from the United States, at least once a day whenever she's in the area. Dodge peanut shells so they don't hurt your HP and send you into anaphylactic shock.
